Our Core Philosophy
Our core belief is based on the fact that every single one of us has dreams, goals, and desires for their everyday life. Our agency focuses on individual choice and providing assistance in obtaining the many opportunities throughout a person’s daily life. You can rest assured that we will listen to the choices, goals, and dreams of all the people we serve.
Dignity and respect are two very important aspects of an individual’s life. Our agency will work to our utmost ability to assure the staff is properly trained to respect barriers, provide assistance without infringing on personal choices, to live in a residence of their choice, and to live with whom they choose.
Responsive service will be provided to promote individuals’ participation in social situations, community activities, as well as neighbor and friend relations. We are committed to supporting our individual in becoming a good citizen who is not only informed but also one who exercises his/her civil rights, privileges, and freedoms as enshrined and guaranteed in the constitution of the land. Above all, we believe each person we serve, like everyone else, must have control over his or her life.

From our staff, our policies & procedures, and through our core philosophy, we make sure that everything is in order to ensure that our delivery of high-quality services will be easier.
Our staff is also given more opportunities and experiences. We believe they, too, need to realize their dreams, goals, and desires. We encourage them to participate in the training of new staff and to conduct staff meetings. We believe in the empowerment of the staff by expecting their presence at team meetings, listening to what they have to say, and seeking their input on an individual basis. One of our goals is to not only make the person who receives our services satisfied but also to employ staff who takes pride in what they do and our agency.
Our policies and procedures, vision and mission statements, and our philosophy are geared towards enhancing the quality of life of our individual, the control of their life, and its outcome. The formulation and revisions will be guided by the participation and inputs of our individuals, guardians, IST members, and legal guardians.
We do believe all revisions to our policies and procedures will be guided by the desire of making this agency more efficient, transparent, accountable, and transformative in fulfilling the goals, desires, vision, ambition, quality of life, health, safety & wellness, satisfaction, happiness, self-image & self-awareness, natural support network, inclusivity in the community, families &n friends, independence, and growth of social skills, among others that yield greater desired outcomes in the life of our individual.
